Psychologist

Yolla has particular interest and experience in the areas of coping with pain and illness/injury, depression, anxiety, trauma and stress related problems, and grief. She utilises a range of evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and hypnosis or hypnotherapy. Yolla tailors treatment to individual needs and fostering of a strong therapeutic alliance is also key to positive change. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.

Yolla has been a practicing Psychologist since 2002 and has over 20 years’ experience assessing and supporting mental health conditions, psychological functioning, and treatment. Yolla strives to help others learn skills and strategies to manage their mental health. Yolla holds postgraduate diploma qualifications in Psychology.

For her own wellbeing, she loves time with family, and wandering around gardens and beaches.
