Health Link: luminamgDr Thom McFinnegan is a general paediatrician with more than a decade of experience caring for children and supporting families across Sydney’s hospital, developmental and community settings. He understands that seeking answers about your child’s health or development can feel overwhelming. Thom takes the time to listen, understand your family’s unique experiences, and work alongside you to develop a plan that feels practical, respectful and achievable.
Thom has a particular interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics. He provides comprehensive assessments and ongoing care for children and young people who may be autistic, have ADHD, experience developmental differences, or need support with learning, emotional regulation or school participation. His approach is curious, neuroaffirming, gender-affirming and grounded in genuine partnership with children, young people, their families and the important people in their lives.
Thom also provides comprehensive care for a wide range of common childhood concerns, including feeding and growth, sleep, constipation, asthma, eczema and recurrent infections. His goal is to help families feel informed, supported and confident as they navigate their child’s health and wellbeing, with care that recognises each child’s strengths and respects every family’s individual journey.
