Dr Julia Frew is an experienced and compassionate paediatrician with over ten years of experience working in paediatrics in both the United Kingdom and Australia, including at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, and as the Paediatric Fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital. She has extensive expertise in caring for newborns and young infants, as well as managing children with complex and developmental needs. Julia has particular interests in neonatal and newborn medicine, developmental paediatrics, and supporting families through the challenges of childhood illness.
As a paediatrician, Julia is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based, and family-centred care. She is known for her thorough and thoughtful approach, clear communication, and genuine care for her patients and their families. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in medical education and enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students, including participation in simulation-based learning.
Outside of work, Julia is a devoted mother of two young daughters. She enjoys being involved in their activities and contributes their local school through learning support volunteering and fundraising initiatives.
